My Challenge: To live on a diet of sushi, for lunch and dinner, every day for 100 days - Limiting my consumption of seafood & If/when I buy seafood, I will ONLY buy seafood that is pole & line caught, or MSC certified as sustainable.
I hope to show that you can eat healthily** AND ethically while on a budget, and to raise money for The Marine Conservation Society along the way by promoting sustainable seafood.

Contrary to popular belief, sushi is NOT raw fish. While many recipes do include fish either raw or cooked, sushi does not have to.
Sushi refers only to the vinegared, seasoned rice and can contain a variety of vegetable and meat fillings... or even no fillings at all.
Fundraising goal set at £500, but 100 days is a long time. If 20 people donate £0.25 / day... then the goal could easily be reached by the end.
**sushi for lunch and dinner only. Rest of my diet will consist of my regular food to make up for nutrients that sushi lacks. Eating only one type of food is never healthy. Sushi however, as one part of your regular diet, can have great health benefits.
