Story
My wife May died from cancer on the 8th February this year aged 50. The single most important thing May was doing during the last year of her life was attending the Royal Marsden Hospital to take part in their development trials of new anti cancer drugs to help others.
Between the 9th & 20th of August I am driving her much loved 1927 Austin 7 Chummy 1000 miles to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign. For more details of the route I will be taking and the events which will be held on the way, you can email me at david.leigh@commercial-initiatives.com and I will send you the "1000 Smiles for May" flyer and the latest route information.
In the meantime, as I can see from the amazing total above, I have had to revise my target upwards to £30,000 due to the actions of some very generous people(!) so please continue to give generously - the Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign needs all the help we can give them to defeat this terrible desease
With best wishes
David Leigh
