My oldest friend Arthur and I  are cycling 500 miles each in the span of a month (January 7 - February 7) to raise money for Children With Cancer UK. We specifically chose this charity because during the pandemic, diseases like cancer have been overshadowed by coronavirus. Therefore we feel that this has increased the need to shed light on this cause, as we should never forget about the importance  of children having fair life chances. They should not be stripped of the opportunity to recover by lack of finance or lack of available treatment. Therefore we feel that by raising money, we can at least make some contribution to treatments, research into cures and giving these vulnerable children a second go at life.
