This charity is very personal to me. I was diagnosed 20 years ago with RA.  For many years I found doing everyday things painful or impossible.  Because I was young no one noticed I found it painful to stand or open things. I certainly couldn’t run.  I would have laughed if anyone had told me I would be running for a bus let alone a half marathon! Thanks to new medication and the fantastic team at the Freeman I managed couch to great north run in 2019 and promised if I completed it I would do it again for Versus Arthritis so here I am! Last year sadly didn’t go as we had hoped so I’m keeping everything crossed for 2021! Please help me hit my target and help millions with this often overlooked disease.
