Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page :)
We four girls know each other through our husbands and over time have become very good friends. Together we are taking part in Trailwalker 2015 in order to raise money for causes who we know are already doing amazing job all around the world (such as tackling poverty, hunger, promoting good health, education and helping people stand on their own feet). While Oxfam is the larger organisation who spreads help in all corners of the globe, Gurkha Welfare Trust (GWT) is another organisation we are supporting who looks after British Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal by providing medical, development and financial aid. Please take a minute to look at the wonderful works this two charity organisations do and help them continue their work by donating as much as you can in this page. Any amount you can spare/donate is equivalent to making a difference in someone else's life. What is more relevant to us girls right now is the fact that both Oxfam and GWT is currently working towards helping the people of Nepal who have been very badly affected by the recent two earthquakes. Hence, it is now more important to receive funds sooner. Heres a link to how money raised from trailwalker teams have already helped in this crisis :

The route starts from Queen Elizabeth park in Portsmouth and ends in Brighton Racecourse. The event date is July 25th and July 26th. None of us have ever undertaken such a huge challenge before so it is going to be quite tough! But with your support and encouragement we will finish it in the estimated time :) Please feel free to come and support us on that weekend,
Thank you for taking time to read my story behind why we are doing this. I hope it has given you some inspiration to do whatever you can to help someone who at this time is less fortunate.
