North London Action for the Homeless has been providing meals and advocacy to people in Hackney for over 30 years. I have been volunteering there on a Monday lunchtime for about a year and was immediately struck by the kindness and compassion of the staff and the welcoming atmosphere. People are able to enjoy a delicious meal in the warm and catch up with friends, benefit from advocacy and legal housing advice, get a haircut, shower and do their laundry. There is also a gardening project, partners coming in like drug & alcohol services, and trips and events. This is sadly a so much needed service at this time and this team are wonderful and your money will go far! Thank you so much.
