Dear All,
Thank you to all of you who have donated. Tuesday 9th July, the first piano in the City was woken up at 6am with some improvised Jazz. Eleven and a half hours later, with a different piece played on each piano, the Natural History Museum's instrument was surrounded by friends and tourists where I played Meade Lux Lewis's Honky Tonk Train Blues as the day came to an end.
A special thanks to all who made the day possible, particulary the Robinson Family and Brian Wright.
The site will remain open for a while longer and, when finally closed, I will post further news about what the Marsden will do with with your donations.
Freddie.
Dear All,
At the end of June 2009, Boris Johnson is placing 30 pianos around London to promote music in the Capital. I am attempting to play a different piece on all 30 pianos to raise money for Cancer. With help from the Daily Telegraph and the Mayors office we are hoping to manage this with as much publicity as possible.
This is of particular importance to me since my mother has been diagnosed with cancer, and for this reason I am trying to raise awareness and money in her name.
Please donate anything however large or small. Your help is much appreciated.
With Love,
Freddie Fuller
