RUNNING...

Juha Vaatainen once said: "Stadiums are for spectators.  We runners have nature and that is much better." 

I couldn't agree more. Running and nature are inevitably connected: Training in the woods or beside a river, a breeze of fresh air – there are many reasons to protect our natural world.

The Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA) is tackling environmental crime and defending the natural world strategically. They operate in a number of different ways. Their findings are combined with scientific documentation and representation at international conventions, creating the hard-hitting campaigns which have earned them a global reputation.

Their work deserves our support. I will run my heart out on April 26th and kindly ask you to support me by donating to EIA. It can be 20 Euros, it can be 2 Euros, even a pound will do it. You might think a buck won't make a difference but I am telling you it will. A single drop of water helps to fill the ocean.
