Your questions answered

Who is Liberty Pay?

LibertyPay is a payment solutions company specialising in contactless giving. They have years of experience helping charities, big and small, make the most of contactless technology.

Do we need to use our own devices or mobile phones?

LibertyPay’s devices do not require you or your volunteers to use their own mobile phones to receive contactless donations.

How much does it cost?

Liberty Pay has two types of contactless donation boxes available to buy or rent. Devices can be rented for as little as £19.95 per month (+VAT) or can be purchased from £349 (+VAT). JustGiving applies a 5% fee to donations made via LibertyPay devices connected to JustGiving.

Is it quick to get set up?

Yes, our partnership means charities don’t need to take on the lengthy process of becoming a payment merchant as JustGiving is already one. Once you’ve spoken to LibertyPay, and chosen your device, you can be and up running in as little as two weeks.
