This charity event which is a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT for Sport Relief!!!!
Sport Relief has an unique history of dedicated people doing extraordinary things to make a difference - from David Walliams’ swim across the English Channel, to Eddie Izzard’s amazing marathon a day around the UK.
But it’s not just celebrities who can do something incredible for charity. For Sport Relief this year I am fronting an attempt to break the current World Record for longest ever football match. The current record stands at 37 hours and . I would like to smash this record and take it to 41 hours giving us a great chance of making it into the book itself. I am also aiming to raise £10,000 for the charity.
I am organising this charity event because I have seen that many people in this country are always willing to help the most needy people and they have resources to do it and that is a privilege a lot of people in other countries do not have.
I am from Colombia and in my country there are just a few people who are in a comfortable enough economic position to be able to donate money to a charity. Also some of the people who can help are not very charitable side or if they are they are afraid that their money or donation may get lost on the way because of corruption. I believe things are slowly changing in my beautiful Colombia but people who really need this aid cannot wait and I believe this charity event will help them. The money you give today will be used in their benefit so people in Africa, South America, etc. will be thanking you for your donation.
