As you may have heard, rates of domestic violence have gone up across the world since the lockdown came into place following the outbreak of coronavirus. Therefore, I’ve decided to start a fundraiser for the Pathway Project who help victims of domestic abuse, of any age/gender

If I can raise 200£ I will shave my head. I will also be donating my hair (about 50-60cm) to ‘Locks of Love’ who make wigs for children going through chemotherapy.

I’ll of course post a video or live stream, so if anyone wants to see my oversized head go naked please donate whatever you can and feel free to share xxx

You may have heard of The Pathway Project, but in case you haven't come across us, we are a domestic and sexual abuse service based in the MidlandsIn the last 12 months we have supported over 2000 women, men and children. The statistics surrounding domestic abuse are eye opening with many reports stating that one in four women and one in six men are affected. Domestic abuse also accounts for 16% of all violent crime.The Pathway Project provides excellent services which help people to get support through different stages of the abuse cycle. We provide support through the legal process, often representing service users at court. We work closely with other services such as local housing authorities, job centres, benefit agencies, police, doctors and social services to ensure that our service users receive the best possible help in rebuilding their lives.Sadly our funding is shrinking year on year and we have just had the devastating news that we have lost a major funding stream.
