DONATE & MEDITATE FOR LOVE PO FOR THE CHANCE TO WIN AMAZING PRIZES FROM LOCAL EDINBURGH BUSINESSES

At FLARE*, our goal and vision is to create a ripple effect of good in the world through our contribution and connection to others. 

This online and in person fundraising event has been created not only to raise money for a local charity which is close to my heart, and to many of those close to me (read their story on the Love Po Charity page), but also with the intention to bring a sense of ease, calmness and release, during difficult and worrying times, through mindfulness and connection.

WHAT - 

A 7 day LIVE morning meditation challenge via Instagram, where participants will take just 8 minutes out of the start of their day to meditate with me and nurture their practise, whether you have never meditated before or are a seasoned pro, anyone can benefit from this time out together. This is completely free, however a donation of at least £2 is suggested via this page, and will get you 1 entry into the prize giveaway. Each day once you complete a meditation, you are encouraged to fill out the meditation scorecard to say you've completed that day and share to your stories and tag me at @nicofergie_flare.  If you complete all 7 days, this will get you a further 3 entries into the prize draw. Further to that, for every £2 you donate, you will receive another 1 entry (e.g. £10 = 5 entries) On the 7th day, there will be an in person celebration at Leith Arches in Edinburgh, to come together to socialise, network, connect and celebrate. This will include a group meditation to complete the marathon and the prize giveaway. You do not have to participate in the group meditation if you still want to come along. This will be open to everyone, whether you have donated or taken part in the lives, all we ask is that you make a donation at the door. Food and refreshments will also be available, as well as a chance to meet new people and create that loving community vibe! If you can't make the in person event, the draw will also be streamed live via Instagram.

Monday 4th April - Sunday 10th April. Mon-Thurs 07:30am online via Instagram (if you do not have Instagram, the videos will be posted to the FLARE* Facebook page also) Sat & Sun 09:00am online. 

In person celebration & giveaway Sunday 10th April, 06:00pm - 08:00pm.

Online via Instagram & Facebook. The in person celebration will take place at Leith Arches in Edinburgh, who have kindly donated their space for us to come together.

By dedicating as little as just 8 minutes a day to sit in a meditation practice, can have monumental effects on your mental well-being. I am not exaggerating when I say that meditation saved my life. Finding a sense of stillness and taking time out for myself to just be in the moment, allowed me to process thoughts and emotions which lead me to create powerful shifts in my mindset which filtered through into my daily life, relationships, career aspects and how I view the world around me. It is a freeing experience if practised daily, creating new neuropathways in our brain that allows us to think and act different to how we have been. 

I truly whole heartedly believe, that by creating small changes in our internal worlds, can bring forth huge changes in the external world.
