It would cost the average person nearly $5,000 to purchase 3,000 lbs of food, but it costs the St. Louis Area Foodbank just $600 thanks to the organization's buying power and community partnerships. With every dollar donated, the St. Louis Area Foodbank can provide 4 meals to people in need.
