Semi Radradra Fiji Cyclone Recovery appeal, 8 February 2021
Think Pacific Foundation have launched an appeal to support communities impacted by Cyclone Yasa. All funding shall be directed to Fiji's Disaster Management Office and local agencies working on recovery efforts.

Story

Semi Radradra is raising awareness and vital funds for the thousands of Fijian civilians affected by Cyclone Yasa and Cyclone Ana.

In December 2020, a category 5 cyclone Yasa tore through the country’s Northern Islands, before Cyclone Ana struck in January.

More than 10,000 people remain in emergency evacuation centres after torrential rain and strong winds caused severe flooding and widespread damage to buildings, crops and public infrastructure.

The Fijian international and Bears player is supporting Think Pacific Foundation’s charitable efforts in rural Fijian communities through this fundraising programme.

The largest donation will receive a signed Fijian shirt by Semi Radradra from the 2020 Autumn internationals, while all other individuals who donate will be included in a raffle to win:

  • A signed ball from Semi Radradra
  • A signed Bears shirt from Semi Radradra
  • A signed pair of boots worn by Semi Radradra in the Premiership win over Bath
