We're braving the icy waters of Felixstowe, UK, on the morning of Fay's birthday - Christmas Day!!!!!!
Fay (Kerenza and Steve's Mum and David's wife) was looked after wonderfully at St. Elizabeth's Hospice during her last days, and we'd like to honour her memory by raising some money for them. It costs £1000 per patient per night to provide such excellent care, so please sponsor us to allow them to continue this great work!!
St. Elizabeth's Hospice cares for over 2000 patients per year, not only in the Hospice but also providing care within the patients' home and in the community. It is an independent charity, relying on fundraisers, donations and volunteers and costs over £9 million a year to run.
We will be joining 200 others on Christmas morning to raise money for the Hospice, by charging into the sea. Kerenza promises to wear a pink Santa-girl outfit. Spectators welcome (especially those with warm towels and a hip flask).
