Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity raises funds to support homelessness initiatives across the city region. Nobody in our city region should be without a safe, secure place to call home. Yet there are many for whom this is out of reach. It isn't right. Not anywhere, but certainly not here.

As most of you know, I moved to Manchester in August 2021 and started a new job (well 2 jobs in now!). Starting to feel and can call Manchester my home. 

I will be running 10k as part of a team for a Triathlon (cause I can't swim or cycle) and will also be jumping out of a plane this Summer/Autumn.

If you know me, you know that I don't do well with heights and my palms would sweat just standing above 2 stories looking down. Not sure how I can convince myself to take the plunge, I will come to that and not overthink now! 

Also, the last time I ran 10k was before COVID-19 in 2019, so wish me luck! I am targeting an hour and 15 mins but hopefully quicker than that!
