About Equipped4Learning
Equipped4Learning is a charity with the aim to provide specialist equipment for children and young adults across West Yorkshire that are under the umbrella of Neurodiverse (DCD, Dyspraxia, ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, DLD). Diagnosis is not necessary but the equipment will need to have been recommended by an AHP or specialist teacher. The equipment will need to enable or aid the child or young adult to access their education.
The charity was set up by a children’s Occupational Therapist after identifying the lack of provision for children, under this umbrella requiring specialist equipment to fully access the curriculum. This equipment can include specialist pens/pencils, angled boards, move n sit cushion, laptop and software. Full eligibility details are on the website, along with a link to the application form.
