Phoebe is going to feature in Take a Break :0) xxx

About 18 months ago Phoebe asked to have her hair cut.  It seemed such a shame to just cut off her beautiful hair and put it in the bin so I showed her the Little Princess Trust website.  Little Princess Trust supply and fully fund the best wigs available from all over the world, especially designed for children.  They also provide personal fitting and styling to ensure the wig is as close as possible to the original hair.  120g of hair is required to manufacture just one wig. This means that it can take between five to ten hair donations to make a single hairpiece, depending on the thickness of the hair.  Hait donation must also be 7"/17cms long.

SO Phoebe got on with the growing and her hair is now 32"/81cms long!!! And it is time for it to be cut so Friday 13th April (13 days before her 8th birthday) Phoebe will be going to Way Ahead hair saloon in Grange Road, Ramsgate to have 17"/43cms of hair cut off to donate to the Little Princess Trust.

The trust not only needs hair but it also needs money donations to make the wigs.
