Story
When I signed up for this swim one cold spring morning, words like neoprene, chaffing and double hatting were not in my vocabulary! Training has been varied-the warmth of French Riviera (nice) mixed with the tides and cold of the English Riviera (not so nice).
This will a big challenge for me. But this is nothing compared to the challenge faced by those who are victims of domestic violence. I am doing this swim for Women's Aid , a charity supporting these women and children. www.womensaid.org.uk

Well I did it ! It took me nearly 3 and a half hours and I had to dig deep. It was extremely cold but the last minute decision to wear gloves was a good decision-I looked odd but it meant that the white hands could be spotted as I came in with the other 800 participants.
Thank you all for your kind support and enthusiasm . It was much appreciated
