In 2011 at 22, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a form of blood cancer, and from day 1, CLIC Sargent were there offering so many types of support and they still support me to this day. It's a given that I couldn't have gone through it without my friends & family, but charities like this are vital for young people who's live's are suddenly turned upside down. I'm a year in remission and fancy risking the life I fought for, so please help raise enough cash to throw me out of a plane to say thanks to CLIC :)
I've also organised a whole crew of staff & patients & family from The Christie Hospital in Manchester to do this as a team. It's where most of us were treated and a place where CLIC Sargent do a lot of great work. 12 of us will make up 'Team Christie' and we'll all be travelling down south in September to do this together. As they set up their pages I'll be adding them to my team, so click on 'Team Christie' below and go read their inspiring stories.
Thank you for every penny, and I really mean that.
