Sarz Sanctuary offers support to people suffering traumatic grief resulting from the death of a loved one.  It was founded by Mark and Julie Wallace following the murder of their 21-year-old daughter, Sara Zelenak, in the June 2017 London Bridge and Borough Market terror attack.

Mark and Julie had been planning to meet Sara in Paris at the end of June, before her life was tragically cut short.

To commemorate Sara, and to raise funds for Sarz Sanctuary, NRF teams will participate in the Brisbane Marathon 5km event on Sunday, 6 June 2021. For the following 2 weeks, NRF teams will try and complete as many trips from London to Paris (a distance of 350km) as possible by running, walking (or even crawling if needed).
