Through my JVC year, I hope to learn and grow as a member of an intentional community, and I hope to further develop my faith and my belief in the importance of social justice. I will be serving as an assistant job training supervisor at Civicorps, Oakland. At Civicorps, I will help youth from the area developing job and leadership skills as well as working to protect the environment in California.
