Story
Thank you for your support through coming to our online annual event in celebration of 5 years at EduSpots. It's been an amazing 5 years, and we are so grateful to the entire network who have contributed to our impact in different ways. 2020 has been a tough year for the organisation, so we are really grateful for any support you can offer.
Most pupils in our communities have been away from school since March 2020, and some are at risk of not returning to school. In some communities, the Spot has been the only source of educational provision. Our Catalysts are so keen to continue to be the solution.
We have a suggested donation of £15/adult and £10/student with £50 for a whole family on Zoom. Further donations are of course welcome, and encouraged!
Please write your name clearly, so we know who has donated.
To give a sense of amounts, £500 funds a STEM summer camp, £1500 funds a new Catalyst grant to create a Spot in an existing building, £100 provides 5 Dext STEM kits and £15 can fund a few text books. We are so grateful for your support. Please see the separate page for raffle and auction donations!
EduSpots is an educational movement which connects, trains, and equips educational ‘catalysts’ to drive the creation of sustainable educational projects. Our vision is of a world in which communities unite to create the future they want to see.We have supported 300 educational catalysts in 40 communities in creating community-led education ‘spots’, powered by solar, whilst nurturing reflection on sustainable development and leading programmes in practical STEM and literacy development. Roughly 15,000 learners have been positively impacted.
