Promoting local Exeter pro-environmental, small business (@soapdazedevon, @glf_veganchef and @bookbag.shop) in a raffle to raise money for Exeter Food Action!!

Exeter Food Action  is an amazing charity that distributes excess food from shops and other suppliers to people who need it. In a year they save around twenty two and a half tonnes of food which creates a carbon savings of around 10,600 kilos CO2, whilst also fighting against Exeter’s rising food poverty.

Exeter Food Action has worked for ten years in and around Exeter to stop good food from going to waste. We collect and receive excess food from supermarkets, wholesalers, manufacturers and farms and redistribute it. The food goes to organisations like St Petrocks, a number of Soup Kitchens, the Food Bank, lots of Community Larders, Schools and other community cafes.

We now work with Fareshare to make sure that even less food is wasted, and more hungry people are fed.
