Story

We are here to celebrate the life of Matt Willson who was murdered in January 2022. Matt was a wonderfully bright and caring person. He was a loving son, boyfriend, uncle, brother and friend.

His passion for astrophysics was inspiring and he was much respected within the field. The University of Exeter said 'Matthew made friends wherever he travelled in his journey in astronomy. His quick-wit, infectious smile, and gentle nature contributed to him being a much-loved member of his various research groups.'

Matt's family has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love we've recieved in the wake of this tradegy, it is truly incredible to hear just how much Matt impacted all of your lives. If you would like to donate, please give to this charity to help disadvantaged students access the education they deserve.

Students from disadvantaged backgrounds are five times less likely to make it to a top university than peers from more advantaged backgrounds. We support these students to access top universities through a programme of mentoring support and academic tuition to help boost their grades.
