Story
The Dormandy children along with their fellow pupils from Orchard House School in years 4, 5 and 6 will be giving up their warm and comfortable beds for one night to sleep outside!
Why? Alongside some of the highest-value property in the UK, West London also has one of the highest numbers of rough sleepers. The children want to do what they can by raising funds for a very worthwhile local charity, Glass Door Homeless Charity. Glass Door runs London's largest emergency winter night shelter for people affected by homelessness and offers casework to get people into stable accommodation and work. Men and women with nowhere else to turn can find drop-in centres during the day and the support they need to end their homelessness. Glass Door night shelters save lives, and the support services help change lives.
Glass Door was selected as Orchard House School charity this year by the children and staff.
Please support the children's amazing efforts in sleeping out so that they can help Glass Door.
