Story

Hi,

I'm Amy, a lifestyle and wedding photographer based in Surbiton, SW London.

www.amymurrell.co.uk / www.especiallyamy.co.uk

Photographs of family and friends are more important in these extraordinary lockdown times than they ever were before. As a small contribution to the amazing work of Kingston Mind / COVID-19 - Emergency Response, I am putting my professional skills to use in the local area and photographing doorstep portraits.

In line with Government guidelines on social distancing I am offering portraits from a safe distance outside of your home.

100% of donations will go directly to Mind in Kingston - COVID-19 - Emergency Response.

Here are the portraits so far ...

Minimum suggested donation is £20.

Please email me at amy@amymurrell.co.uk if you are interested in having your portrait taken.

Thank you so much, and stay safe.

Here's some further information about the work that MIND in Kingston do;

COVID-19 is having a major impact on people's mental wellbeing - in our local community, we are seeing people experiencing grief, trauma, anxiety, loneliness and isolation.

Working from home is causing stress, and adding pressure to relationships. At Mind in Kingston, we are supporting people to look after their mental wellbeing and during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services so they can be accessed by email, online, by phone and by video. It is highly likely this will continue for quite some time to come, and to help us do so, we are asking for donations to support this vital work.

We are delivering kits to people at home including art, physical activity and self-care kits, and we are working with experts to deliver sessions that reduce isolation, improve self-confidence and self-esteem, elevate people's mood and keep people connected. You can help by making a donation and support our work.#nevermoreneeded
