For anyone who knows me, you will appreciate that I’m not normally one for a hike, never mind what is essentially 3 in just under 12 hours. By the end of it, I, along with colleagues and friends  will have walked 39km and climbed more than 1700m  – numbers so much higher than my Jimmy Choo heels and feet are used to!

As a team we are walking together in memory of Andy Leach, a brilliant colleague who was passionate about supporting autistic people and people living with learning disabilities. Talkback UK are a charity that help these people embrace new opportunities. The money will go towards accessible evidence-based workshops that help build real-world skills and foster talents to create positive change within communities. Their philosophy focuses on the journey towards practical skills, rather than stand-alone sessions, which is why their outcomes are so successful.

I would be grateful for any donations to this great charity and the big challenge that lies ahead!
