Story
Hi,
As many of you know I am running the London Marathon this year along with Rich, in aid of Myeloma UK. Myeloma is a blood cancer that attacks the bone marrow, there is no current cure. Many of you already know that my dear Father-in-law Tommy battled this disease for two years, sadly he passed away in 2007. Whilst Tommy was ill Myeloma UK where a lifeline not only to Tommy, but also to myself, wife Sandi, and her family, providing advice and support at a very upsetting time. Myeloma UK also raise money to fund research into new cures, and drugs to prolong lives......drugs like the ones Dad took to allow him the extra time to see myself and Sandi get married.Although Tommy has passed on now I continue to support Myeloma UK both in his memory, and for the thousands fighting this disease. Thanks for taking the time to read all of this, and please donate no matter how small, it all makes a difference.Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
