We all think that we won't get cancer and that nobody we love will get cancer, but we can and they do!
In January 2014 our sister Diane was diagnosed with breast cancer she had an operation to remove the tumour and her lymph glands then started chemotherapy after chemo she had radiotherapy and was told she was cancer free in November 2014.
2015 was going to be a better year for us but 2 days before New Year's Day 2014 our big sister, Michele was diagnosed with secondary cancer with the primary unknown and so the fight starts again. Michele is currently on her 4th bout of chemo she's very positive and we know if anyone can beat this she can 💪
As you can see cancer is an illness very close to our hearts. As a family we have felt helpless and at a loss to know how to help our sisters as they have been walking their journey living with and fighting this cruel disease.
Without the support and treatment that Cancer Research have provided it wouldn't have been possible to fight this, more than ever now there is a need to keep researching for cures to all the Cancers out there. The race for life is the least we can do to show our support in light of the pain they have been through. So please help support us and help us raise as much money as we can and together we can all fight this and beat it 🎀
On 20th June as a team we are taking part in Pretty Muddy. Pretty Muddy® isn’t like any other fundraising event. It is a 5k muddy obstacle course where women of any ability can climb, jog and walk all over cancer.
