I'm braving the streets of London again this April to run the Marathon. I ran last years one through a ballot place but decided still to raise money for charity. I have this year got a place through the NSPCC so find myself having to raise more than I did last year. Doing this event has given me a goal to aim towards. I feel that children who are abused and neglected don't have opportunities for such goals in life for many reasons.The NSPCC can give them a goal.Childhood should be a time when children are free to dream. Yet, for thousands of abused and neglected children, all they want is not to feel frightened or lonely anymore, to feel safe.

Please help children around the UK find that goal in life like those of us who have been lucky enough not to see what they have seen.
