Hey everyone, some MHS boys and I have decided to fundraise for the UN Women National Committee. We are aiming to run 2000 km collectively over the course of a month (from 7/4 to 7/5) to raise awareness and fundraise for this cause. We want to show that gender equality isn't a women's issue, but rather a human one.

In everything we do, and all we aim to achieve, we are committed to advancing gender equality and the empowerment of women. UN Women programs in over 100 countries worldwide are working to accelerate gender equality through five focus areas - ending violence against women and girls; ending poverty through enhancing women’s economic empowerment; responding in humanitarian crises; increasing women’s leadership and political participation; and ensuring women’s inclusion in peace making processes and negotiations.
