I'm challenging myself to a DECHOX and giving up chocolate for March to raise money for lifesaving heart research.

My youngest son (now 10) was born with a Congenital Heart Defect.  He has a Ventricular Septal Defect (hole between the bottom 2 chambers of his heart) We have been really lucky that he has stayed well and healthy throughout his life and should continue to do so with monitoring from the Cardiologists.

Heart Disease seems to be a big thing in our family too with Essential Hypertension being a running trend..  I now have it too so its important to me to start my Dechox and hopefully kickstart a healthier diet with much less chocolate in it for life!!!
