Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My mothers diagnosis came at the relatively young age of 54 in
2010 and was a double blow for me and the family with the news that my father was bravely battling what turned out to be terminal cancer.
It's been extremely difficult for everyone to deal with the decline in my mother to the extent that she no longer recognises any of the family.
I wrote a song during one of the times when I was struggling to deal with what I *should* be doing. I think it's almost an apology to my mama for maybe not visiting as often as I should, but that doesn't mean that I don't think about her every day.
You can watch the video for the song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yw6TXjM1Aac

I wish we had known about the wonderful work that Alzheimer Scotland do during the initial stages of my mama's diagnoses, and if we can raise some money and awareness about them that would be wonderful.
Any donation no matter how big or small is most welcome.
Thanks...
John
