Edinburgh Kiltwalk 2024 · 15 September 2024 ·

Children in Scotland is a charity working to improve children and young people’s lives across the country. We want to help build a Scotland where every child can flourish. We seek to challenge inequalities, and much of our work is focused on improving outcomes for those in poverty and facing other barriers to reaching their full potential.

Story

I’m doing the Edinburgh Kiltwalk in September with some of my lovely colleagues to raise money for the charity we work for - Children in Scotland. We’ll be doing the Big Stroll (11 miles).

Children in Scotland does amazing things; from direct work supporting children and young people to campaigning for policy and legislative change so that children are protected, supported and empowered. We work with children and young people from all backgrounds and cover lots of important topics (including poverty, mental health, education and disability).

If you can spare some cash, please donate to help us create a society where all children have an equal chance to flourish. It’s been a challenging time for many charities so anything you can give helps to make a difference.

Thank you!

David
