Story
Last year I ran the London mini-marathon under 13 race and raised £2000 for two charities one of which was the Duchenne Research Fund. This year, as the London mini marathon is on Passover, I can't do it, so I ran the 10Km race at the Jerusalem marathon on March 18th.
I have a friend that I have known ever since we were very little who has this condition, which is why I want to raise at least £2000 this year. It is not important to me how much each person gives. Small donations mount up. Whether you give £1-5 or £100, I and my friend will be very happy.
I had a great time at the race and managed to finish 10th overall, out of a field of over 6000, and was the fastest under 15 to finish. There is a ceremony in Tel Aviv on 28th March to present the trophy, which I obviously cannot make, but they did present me with a victory bouquet on the podium!
Please give whatever you can so I can reach my target.
