DIFC 5km/10km Super Hero Run 2011 · 15 May 2011 ·
UPDATE - 15th May
Well that was fun. The boys did really well with Daniel and Nathan both running the 5k; I jogged and walked with Luke and Allison and Joshua made it with ease. Great to have Uncle David taking part (just beat Daniel) and Samuel and Lydia. We have added a few pictures - plus there were even some pictures of us at Madam Tussards...
Thanks for the support....we got 97% of the way there. All money goes into this awful medical condition that has so blighted our family.
UPDATE - 13th May
So the line up is complete - see the pictures on this page. Allison had to be Wonder Woman, Nathan is Captain America, Daniel Superman and of course Joshua is the Joker.
We'll post some team pictures after the run on Sunday
Tahnks for your support!
UPDATE - 11th May
Well sorry but the boys decided that if I go as the Hulk in just my underpants that they wouldnt come - so you will see me in the picture opposite as my alternative ego - Wolverine. Also I think you will like Luke as Batman...
More pictures to come!*************************************************************************

On Sunday 15th May, Team Hartley will be taking part in a Super Hero run to raise funds for the XLP Research Trust at Regents Park in London. This is our annual family fundraising event for the charity and given all of my sons going through bone marrow transplants then it seems very apt.
We are taking (nice) suggestions as to which Superheroes we should go dressed as. I think Allison would look good as Wonder Woman and I am threatening to paint myself green and strip down to my underpants as the Hulk.... but please email us with your suggestions.
All the funds raised from this event will go into medical research into this rare life taking genetic condition - and we really need your support.
