Story
Oldies Club supporters Ray and Dennis, aged 71 and 70 respectively, are coming out of their 'walking retirement' to undertake an 80-mile walk over five days to help raise much-needed funds for the charity.
Ray and Dennis are walking The Dales Way - you can see the route here: http://www.dalesway.org/route.html - over five days, starting 4 October 2018.
4 October 2018: Ray and Dennis have set off now. We've set up a photo album on our Facebook page where we'll add a few photos each day as they come through:

You'll probably have to copy and paste the above link, or right click and open/open in a new tab, if your device allows.
We've also received a £50 in direct donations in addition to the total raised via this page. Thank you very much indeed to everyone who has donated so far :-)
Dennis is hoping it stays dry this time, so that he doesn't fall over in the mud. Ray has been instructed to keep his camera to hand, just in case he does! We won't mention rumours of a pint being involved ... let's stick to blaming the mud!
The first photo shows Ray, with some lovely Corgis, on a previous walk for Oldies Club. It will be just Ray and Dennis this time around, no doggie companions, as the men are booking into accommodation overnight. The subsequent photos have been added with kind permission from the Walking Englishman: https://www.walkingenglishman.com/dalesway1.htm to show examples of The Dales Way walking route. We plan to add some photographic updates once Ray and Dennis start walking for Oldies Club.
Oldies Club is a small, volunteer-run charity that rescues and rehomes older dogs in the UK. Its vet bills run into thousands of pounds each month. Any donation you are able to donate to this page to sponsor Ray and Dennis and support Oldies Club will be most appreciated. Thank you :-)
