About Cullercoats Watch House
The Watch House, Cullercoats built in 1879 is an iconic building immortalised in a number of paintings by the world renowned American artist Winslow Homer. Originally built as a lookout for ships in peril during storms and foul weather, the building is now a community venue in dire need of repair.
