Story
In 1999 they rushed Kevin into intensive care and found out he had kidney failure and a problem with his heart. By March 19th 2000 they put him on a transplant list they phoned on the 26th he had a match as we all know your not a number but a match .Due to unfortunate circumstances it failed in the January. Kevin has never moaned or complained about his health just got on with it .Zoe was 10 and Leon three so they never known there dad any other way than on dialysis. After two years they found out only half the heart functioned and the antibodies took over so the next 12 years we just got on with it in and out of hospital with scares. In 2014 they gave Kevin transplant which lasted until 2018 where they found a problem with his Liver, not that he had enough problems with his organs, but we just got on with it well Kevin did still no complaint off him always saying I'm ok .We then had the worse scare of all he was rushed into intensive care with sepsis, he was in a coma for two weeks but he was just to weak to come out of the coma but the fighter he is the day they called us all in he beat them again .We went to the Royal Free hospital in London to see if he needed a Liver and kidney transplant. They done all the test and said his Liver trying to regenerate it self its a slow journey but it still trying .I don't think they think Kevin could cope with a another kidney transplant but we take what comes. Then to have this blow with his leg is more than anyone can bare but Kevin as he is said straight to the surgeon take it off it was suppose to be below the knee but no guarantee it would spread so it was safer above the knee.Zoe and i was standing there and he said take it above the knee as its only a leg at least I'm alive. So as you see Kevin is a fighter and we love him to bits.
Words can't say how grateful we are for this support your giving us and all the lovely messages for Kevin its keeping him going. So a big big thank you from Me,Zoe Leon and the main one Kevin
