I've raised £10000 to WEAR RED SAVE A LIFE JULY THE 4th 2023 to provide bleed kits in locations across Nottingham and to stem the flow of catastrophic bleeds.

RE: Wear Red, Save a Life Campaign 2023
My name is Zoe Cooke, mother of Byron Griffin, who was stabbed to death in an unprovoked attack while picking up a friend in Ilkeston on Sunday afternoon on 4th of July 2021 at just 22 years old.
Sadly, knife crime is on the increase and is no longer just gang or drug related. Since losing my son I have been campaigning tirelessly against knife crime and have been successfully raising money to provide bleed kits in locations across Nottingham. Last year we concentrated on schools taking part but this year we would like anyone who wishes to take part to join in so Schools, Collages, Companies, or even just you yourself. I will then concentrate on getting these kits into as many hot spots and schools in Nottingham as possible.
My families life has been totally broken beyond belief and i do not want any more families to go through this nightmare. The sad fact is if you lose 40% of your blood you die. These public access kits are designed for any Catastrophic to stem the flow until the emergency services arrive.
