Assisting and Celebrating the Elders of Our Community,

Dear Community,

I am writing on behalf of Creative Companion Collaborations CIC a community-focused initiative committed to enhancing the lives of our esteemed elders. We are seeking your generous support to assist us in organizing a special event to celebrate the elders of our community  on 1st December  2023 while addressing their unique transportation needs.

At Creative Companion  Collaborations  CIC we firmly believe in the importance of honoring and cherishing our elders, who have contributed immeasurably to the growth and development of our community. We have planned an event on 1st December 2023 to express our gratitude and respect for their lifelong achievements, wisdom, and their carers!!

One of the major challenges faced by our elder community members is transportation, particularly for those who rely on wheelchairs. We are dedicated to ensuring that all elders can attend this event comfortably and enjoy the festivities without any barriers. To achieve this, we require additional financial support to provide accessible transportation services, such as wheelchair-accessible vans or buses.

We kindly request your sponsorship to assist us in securing suitable transportation for our elder guests. Your generous contribution will not only enable us to arrange safe and comfortable transportation for them but also alleviate any concerns they may have about mobility limitations. By ensuring their presence at this celebratory event, you will contribute to creating a memorable experience for all attendees.Absolutely! When it comes to donations, every little bit can make a significant impact. Even small contributions can add up over time and collectively make a difference in the lives of our elders and cares.

Dear  Community!!

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for K2 Associates!!! your generous support in covering the transportation costs for the elderly from Lewisham to Victoria Docks. Thanks to your contributions, we have been able to ensure that carers and their loved ones can attend the event without any financial burden.

Your kindness and dedication to improving the lives of the elderly in our community are truly commendable. By enabling them to participate in this event, you have not only provided them with an opportunity for enjoyment and social interaction but also recognized the importance of their well-being.

However, our mission does not end here. We now have a new target in mind of securing a further £256 There are four elders, along with their carers, (8 in total) who reside outside Lewisham and are unable to afford their tickets for the event. We believe every individual deserves the chance to partake in meaningful gatherings, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Therefore, we kindly request  continued support in helping us achieve our goal of providing transportation for these eight individuals. Your contribution  Community will make a significant difference in their lives, allowing them to experience the joy and companionship that this event offers.

UPDATE

Dear Valued Community Members,

First and foremost, we extend our deepest gratitude to each one of you for your generous contributions to our event. It brings us immense joy to share that we have not only met but exceeded our fundraising target. We assure you that the additional funds will be thoughtfully allocated to our upcoming 2024 event, which will be announced in the New Year.

Regrettably, we must share some sombre news regarding our founder, Yvonne. As many of you know, Yvonne was motivated to establish the 3C's initiative to aid lonely seniors after her mother was diagnosed with dementia. Her mother lived in Florida, USA, and Yvonne, being distant, channelled her efforts into supporting the elderly in her local community. It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of Yvonne's mother after her long battle with dementia.

The funeral is scheduled for the same day as our long-planned afternoon tea event. While Yvonne cannot attend in person, her dedicated team is prepared to take the lead and ensure the event proceeds as planned. Yvonne continues to be actively involved in the final stages of preparation, even as she prepares to travel to Florida.

We appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging time. For those attending the event, we hope you will enjoy every moment, and for those of you who have followed the 3Cs' journey, we'll be updating our blog soon to share more information.
