In September 2021, at the age of 14, our son, Patrick, sadly passed away. He was a much loved and popular student of Priory Woods school in Middlesbrough and is missed dearly. Priory Woods School and Arts College is an all age community special school situated in east Middlesbrough. The school provides a quality, inclusive education for pupils with severe learning difficulties and those with profound and multiple needs. Priory Woods played a huge part in shaping Patrick into a fantastic young man. We'd like to support Priory Woods and give other kids the chance to receive same love, care and education as Patrick. On 9th June 2023, Martin (Patrick's dad), Jimmy, Raymond and Andy will cycle Coast to Coast and back. Riding from Middlesbrough to Bo'ness on Solway, then turning our bikes around and heading back, we will cover a distance of 250 miles in 3 days. With your help we hope to raise funds to help the school buy specialist equipment for the students.
Last year, we raised £1555 which was used to buy a specially adapted bicycle.
