Story

Access to the arts nowadays is greatly reduced. Very little in schools, hardly anything in rural areas.

We need equipment, like paper, easels, pens and paints. We need to pay for heating, rent etc. We need to buy in talented arts practitioners to facilitate our workshops. We want to have elderly isolated people working alongside toddlers, we want to enable adults with learning disabilities to work on the same project with teenagers. Our most immediate need is to raise money for our projects in early 2018. We have drawing workshops, printing workshops jewellery making and sculpture for children and older people. Please help - creative arts are essential to healthy minds and healthy communities. Thanks

We are trying to provide an accessible range of arts workshops to everyone including the adults with learning disabilities, older people who may feel isolated in their own homes and children. Arts are essential to people's well being. Imagine not having access to images, films, music, sculpture......? The world would then be a very scary place. We want to give people, no matter what their situation, the opportunity to experience the joy of being creative together with other people.

What we put on

Please help us - we are doing this all voluntarily. Please help us if you can. Thank you. This is Clare working on the Three Kings for the Lantern Parade on 1st December 2017
