Story
Woodend Community Woodland Project.
With your support we want to reinvigorate an historic woodland entrance to Maghull, with a welcoming, accessible, safe, iconic and engaging wildlife friendly space, focusing on enhancing the environment, history, community, legacy.
To our amazement we have recently crowd funded (stage one) an accessible path and a safe wildlife friendly perimeter (www.spacehive.com/woodend) but we now need your help to create educational woodland mentored community borders, wildlife friendly zones, tree planting, information board, community seating, iconic features and activities for whole community to cherish, enjoy, improve health and engage with, inside this precious area of nature.

3 years agoMaghull’s Kind Support Towards Environmental Project Continues. Some wonderful donations from local residents. Liam & Michelle who donated 16 ornamental sandstone rocks and three substantial rhododendrons which are now helping to define the rear border. Andy & Kim also donated a rhododendron & a beautiful 5 foot weeping cherry blossom, which although was not perfect to transplant at this time of the year has been planted in the rear border with lots of water and compost TLC. Thank you also for the £19 Donation from everyone at 'The Chippy'.
