We smashed it! Yesterday the kids took to St Charles playing field and completed their 100 laps (well, 90 as Tommy, a team mate, had done 10 himself last Wednesday knowing he couldn't be there yesterday - what a great attitude!). The kids (& coaches) even had enough energy left to have a 7-a-side game afterwards, which was settled via a penalty shootout following some dubious refereeing decisions & even dodgier goalkeeping. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, & especially all the parents/supporters who came down to cheer the kids on.

Wow! That went a lot better than anticipated - our initial target smashed before our fundraising day! Absolutely brilliant effort - can't thank everyone who has donated enough. We've had an unbelievable start to the fundraising, can't thank everyone enough. Plans have been confirmed for the walk/dribble on Sunday and the kids can't wait. Fingers crossed for decent weather! The 100 laps they will be aiming to do is the equivalent of walking to Old Trafford and then onto the Etihad Stadium - so a big effort for little legs!
