Story
Doug Sandom who provided the very first back beat for The Who back in 1962. One thing lead to another then Doug relinquished and the rest is history. He has remained a passionate and dedicated fan of the greatest rock'n'roll band ever to come out of England . Doug has continued through out his life to share his personal experiences to Who fans young and old.Now in his twilight years Doug needs the professional care and with your help we can achieve this.Doug is suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia Please give what you can. 9 years agoI am putting on a do at The Water Rats,Kings Cross London on the 24/2/17 featuring the mighty Who's Who tribute band.This is all in aid of raising funds for Doug Sandom (original drummer of The Who) as the donations seemed to have halted,you can still chuck in a couple of quid to secure a comfortable life for him in his twlight years,(dementia and alzheimers has set in).More details to follow and thank you in advance.
