Story
The Beacon school in Folkestone Kent is a school for children and young people with special needs. many of its students have mobility difficulties or are wheel chair users.
Ibby has inspired so many people during his short life, with his contagious smile and can do attitude. We intend to continue his legacy by creating a page where people can donate in his memory or use this page for raising money towards a well needed minibus for the school through organizing or taking part in their own events under the "....with Ibby" banner.
Over the past year Ibby has spent a lot of time in hospital and was unable to complete some of the things he loved i.e swimming, visiting new places, making new friends or just feeling the wind on his face through the open window of the minibus as he embarked on his next adventure.
Please donate as much or as little as you can afford as this amazing young man deserves his inspiration to continue for many years to come.

2 years agoIt’s now a year since we lost our little hero, and the fund raising continues, we have many events planned for next year so please keep sharing and donating as much as you can spare. The School’s mini bus situation is worsening and this is affecting the opportunities for these very special young people within the community. A massive thank you to all that have donated, walked, run, biked and swam to name just a few of the activities people have committed to. Please let’s keep this going and with Ibby we can make a difference. Thank you

3 years agoThank you all for supporting this inspirational young man. We have got off to a great start but still have such a long way to go to reach our target. Rather than send Christmas cards this year we will be donating what we spend on them to this page, please feel free to do the same. Father Christmas is working very hard of course this time of the year and will be donating any income he receives as well. Watch this space for some great events for next year already in the planning. And once again thank you for your support. Andy & Lea x
