Story

W.I.S.E focuses on "students at risk" who have a practical inclination. The 35 students currently enrolled at W.I.S.E are involved with projects of their choice in technical training in carpentry, boat building, technical drawing, computer graphic design, engine repair, agriculture and gardening, digital music production, and creative workshops such as visual arts, food technology and hospitality. These students are selected to be part of W.I.S.E through self-referral or referral by Anguilla's High School staff or the Department of Social Development.

Hurricane Irma devastated the island of Anguilla, causing considerable damage to W.I.S.E, while we are fortunate that re-building costs will be covered by Government of Anguilla we have lost many of our valuable educational resources including text books, carpentry and musical equipment, computers and sewing machines. It has taken many years for WISE to accumulate the resources needed to operate effectively, but now we are back where we started and really need help in re-establishing a well resourced school to support Anguilla's youth.
