Winston took ill nearly six weeks ago now and has had multiple overnight stays at Vets Now Animal Hospital for procedures including ultrasounds, x rays, biopsies, Colonoscopy, IV's, endoscopy, blood tests etc.
He has now finally been diagnosed with anemia, chronic Inflammatory Bowel Disease and a stomach ulcer which was bleeding into his intestine.
He has a long term medical plan going forward and is currently on a diet of prescribed hydrolyzed food.

This was a rare case for a 4 year old dog and the vets haven't yet come to a conclusion why he has developed these conditions other than a possible case of parvovirus as a puppy.
The ongoing bill currently stands at £5000 and his insurance will only cover £3k of that if they agree to pay out.

As a dog walker my funds aren't huge and obviously I've wanted to do everything possible with the specialist vets to get my boy better so I've set up a page for him after multiple people said it might help ☺
